“Do what…?” “Go abroad for a year. That’s so dumb.” Sorry I’m not afraid to take chances… and yeah, it does suck right now. But it’s gonna get SO MUCH BETTER. I love the people here, I love the food, the culture, the candy, the not being judged, the freedom to dance down the streets, singing at the top of my lungs. I love the deep talks I have with people, and being able to cry in front of people and getting a hug instead of an awkward back pat and a “Uhhh hope you feel better”. I love how much I ACTUALLY love the people here. My “best friends” don’t tell other people my secrets. They don’t say mean things, or laugh when I say something dumb. They are there for me 100% of the time, and that’s definitely the best part about being here so far.
